To create a Channel or #Room you need to have a REGISTERED nickname and then

JOIN the new Channel.

To do this type: /join #new_channel_name make sure you put #in front of the Room

name or it will NOT work.


After you join the unregistered Channel or #Room of your choice, REGISTER it by typing

/msg chanserv REGISTER #new_channel_name channel_password CHAT

EXAMPLE /msg chanserv REGISTER #Lounge IceCream CHAT


NOTE:If the founder's nick expires, ChanServ will drop their channel when NickServ

drops their nick after 60 days of inactivity.

If no one on the FOUNDER, SOP, AOP, or VOP list enters the channel within 14 days, the

channel will be considered expired and may be dropped.
