Using The AKICK ADD ~ DELete ~ LIST Commands

Your AKICK is usually reserved for permanent BANS.

Some of the advantages to Akick are:

 1. AKICK lists can only be seen by Founders and SOPs
 2. AKICK can only be placed by Founders and SOPs
 3. Because the AKICK list is invisible, it makes it almost impossible to evade your Ban
 4. Whenever there is a server burp, the AKICK's usually remain in place.

To ADD nick to the AKICK list type: /msg  chanserv AKICK #channel_name ADD [mask] [reason]

Note: for an AKICK on a Nick. It would look like this :

EXAMPLE: /msg  chanserv AKICK #Lounge ADD BadGuy harassment

NOW on a ban mask it would look like this:

EXAMPLE: /msg  chanserv AKICK #Lounge ADD guy@80.99.77* harassment

Note: you must put an Asterisk * at the end of a set of numbers @80.99.77*

EDITORS NOTE: On an AKICK I always do something like this
EXAMPLE: /msg  chanserv AKICK #Lounge ADD guy@80.99.77* harassment*BadGuy*11-22-05

That way you always have a record of WHY, WHO and WHEN you placed the AKICK

To display the AKICK List type: /msg  chanserv AKICK #channel_name LIST

EXAMPLE: /msg  chanserv AKICK #Lounge LIST

To DELete nick from the AKICK list type: /msg  chanserv AKICK #channel_name DEL [mask]
Note: it is best to copy and paste directly from the AKICK List

EXAMPLE: /msg  chanserv AKICK #Lounge DEL BadGuy!*@*

OR /msg chanserv AKICK #Lounge del 2

where 2 is the position in the AKICK LIST where BadGuy is at.
